We make it a point to continuously donate to the Caribbean Oceanic Restoration and Education Foundation (C.O.R.E.)
The coral reefs in the Virgin Islands and all over the world are constantly fighting off diseases. Now, with the spread of the Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD), it is more important than ever to make sure we do what we can to help protect our reefs. SCTLD is killing up to 80-100% of infected coral colonies.
C.O.R.E. is helping to educate locals and working to slow the spread of SCTLD and control the invasive Lionfish population. If you want to learn more about the C.O.R.E. mission, you can click here.

Everyone Can Make a Difference
Here are some things that you can do to make sure you are not harming these majestic reefs
-Never touch or stand on any reefs
-Make sure nothing ever falls out of your vessel
-Only Anchor in Sand or Mud
-Always check on your anchor to make sure it is properly set and not dragging
-Only use Reef Safe Sunscreen or wear a rashguard/sunshirt
-Ingredients in sunscreen to avoid: Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Homosalate, 4-Methylbenzylidene camphor, PABA, Parabens, Triclosan, Any Nanoparticles or “Nano-sized” zinc or titanium (Micro and Non-nano are good)
These Beautiful Reefs are Fragile. What can take decades to grow, can be destroyed in a moment.

We started this business to give people the opportunity to share in the beauty of Saint John and it’s magical waters.
As a long time sailing instructor, I have been teaching people to bareboat safely all around the world.
Now I strive to help people explore the beauty of our island from the water.
Safety of people and the marine environment is of the highest priority!
We must take care of our environment so we can share the beauty for generations to come
